Track and cancel orders
You see the orders of projects you are in. A workspace Admin sees a project's orders only after adding themselves to it.
The orders list
Open Orders in the sidebar (under Acquisition). It shows the selected project's orders, or all your projects' orders when viewing All projects. Filter with the Status chips or search by order number or name.
Action button by status
| Status | Button | Opens |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Edit | The order wizard |
| Pending Feasibility Review | Under Review (text) | Nothing until Terrabit finishes |
| Pending Approval | Review | The approval page (Approver or Manager) |
| Active or Completed | View | The order view |
| Cancelled | Details | Who cancelled it, when and why |
The row menu adds Move to Project and, for drafts, Delete Order.
Order statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being prepared. Only drafts can be edited or deleted. |
| Pending Feasibility Review | Terrabit is preparing the quote. You cannot change or cancel the order. |
| Pending Approval | Quote ready for an Approver or Manager to accept, amend or cancel. |
| Active | Approved and being fulfilled. |
| Completed | Every deliverable not cancelled has been delivered. Returns to Active if Terrabit reopens a deliverable. |
| Cancelled | Cancelled by your approver or by Terrabit. |
Deliverable statuses
Deliverable statuses move on automatically or through Terrabit's work; you cannot change them.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | The order is not yet approved. |
| Planned | Approved tasking waiting for its capture window. |
| Tasking | The window has opened (within half an hour of midnight on the start day, area's local time). |
| In Progress | Being captured or processed. Archival deliverables start here on approval. |
| Delivered | The data is ready. |
| Cancelled | Will not be delivered. Terrabit can cancel a single deliverable. |
The order view
Click View on an active or completed order. Order Summary shows the approved quote and Activity the timeline. A PO Required or Credit Required badge means processing is waiting on you; contact your Terrabit account manager. A Partial badge on a deliverable means it covers only part of its area (see Partial coverage).
Get the files
Select a deliverable and click Downloads to open its files in the Data Catalog. See Deliverables.
Cancel an order
| Status | Who can stop it | How |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Editor, Approver or Manager | Row menu, Delete Order (cannot be undone) |
| Pending Feasibility Review | Terrabit only | Contact your Terrabit account manager |
| Pending Approval | Approver or Manager | Cancel at approval |
| Active | Terrabit only | Contact your Terrabit account manager. Only possible while no deliverable is in progress, delivered or invoiced. |
| Completed or Cancelled | Nobody |
Cancelling cancels every deliverable and releases any held credit. Terrabit can reopen an order cancelled after approval.
Move an order to another project
Who can do this: a project Manager in both projects, or a workspace Admin. Either way you must be a member of both.
Choose Move to Project from the order's row menu. Any status can be moved. The move is refused if the target already has an order with the same name.
- Only members of the new project can open the order.
- Its areas stay where they are, and projects holding them still see its deliverables.
- The order number, status, billing and payment do not change.
- Nobody is notified.
If the order's areas are not in the new project, its members can open the order but its deliverables do not appear in the Data Catalog list, on maps or through the Tiles API. Link the areas into the new project to fix this. See Manage areas.
