Deliverables

A deliverable is one item of an order: the data for one area from one data source, such as an archive purchase or one capture of a tasking schedule. Viewing, downloading and sharing need only the Viewer project role. Only Terrabit can change delivered files or a deliverable's status.

Who can see a deliverable

You can open a deliverable if its area is in one of your projects (whichever order produced it) or its order is in one of your projects. A workspace Admin must be a project member like anyone else.

Find a deliverable

  • From an order: select a deliverable, then Downloads. See Track and cancel orders.
  • From the Data Catalog: hover a capture and select View downloads.
  • From an area: click a deliverable row in the area's details.
  • From a notification: In Progress, Delivered and Cancelled notifications link to it.

The deliverable page

The header has Downloads and View order. View order is disabled unless you are a member of the order's project.

Layers tab

Tick a layer to show it; only the first is on at first. Layer types are described in Data Catalog. Layers here are read from the delivered files, so they show even when the deliverable is not in your Data Catalog. With no map layers, the page opens on Scenes.

Scenes tab

Lists the satellite scenes in the deliverable, with time, sensor and cloud cover. Click a scene to show or hide it. Attempted scenes are captures not yet confirmed for delivery; expand the section to preview them.

Summary

Shows the data source, status, capture progress, dates and specification. A Partial {n}% badge means it was ordered over only part of the area. The deliverable page never shows the price.

Downloads page

Lists every file, grouped into Map Layers, Processed Data, Report, Raw Data and Other Files.

Download a file

Hover the file and select Download. There is no bulk download. View previews a PDF or image without downloading. Map layers offer only View on map: they are for viewing or streaming, not download.

Share a file with Quick Share

Hover the file, select Quick Share, choose a Link duration (1 hour to 7 days) and copy the link. Anyone with it can download the file, including people without an account. Map layers have no Quick Share.

warning

A Quick Share link cannot be revoked, so choose the shortest duration that works.

When files are not available

A Pending or Cancelled deliverable shows no files.

Deliverable statuses

Each deliverable has its own status, and a recurring tasking schedule creates one deliverable per capture. See Track and cancel orders.

Price visibility

Price shows only to members of the order's project, in the order view's deliverable summary.

Why a deliverable is missing from the Data Catalog or tiles

CauseWhat to do
You reach it only through its order.Link the area into your project, or ask to join the area's project. See Projects.
It has no map layers.Download the files instead.
Its area was deleted.None.
Its only map layers are vectors (VEC), which are never tiled.View it in the app.
It was delivered in the last 15 minutes (tiles are cached).Try again later.
Your WMTS document is full (250 newest deliverables).Use a project, area or capture URL from Connect to GIS.
Your API key cannot read it: map tiles are not enabled, the key lacks tiles:read or it does not cover the area's project.See API keys.

An empty tile over ground a layer does not cover is normal.
